I love the Russian people, especially the ladies. They are some of the most beautiful women in the world. Its always the governments that screw up the people.

Why does the east consider vladimir putin honorable?
I believe this is due to the complete lack of ignorance the east has about the modern free world.
What fear, what jealousy? I thought that was what the east had for the west for the last 60 years, which I was so many people couldn't wait to defect! Now you're mentality is still many years behind the times, which is reflected in your question above.

First, The West "disrespects" Pres. Putin primarily because he is seen as a threat. Anyone, any nation that goes against the grain of the western powers are labelled as "crackpots", tyrants, and despots. Thus, clear threats to their hold on power. Second, the West does not want a re-emergence of the "old" Russia, and fears it may have to share its power again.

I have mixed feeling regarding this guy > I do agree with him about his concern about the proposed anti missile base planned in Poland. How would America feel if The Russians planned a similar site say in Cuba. Remember ? I disagree with him regarding his provocative flights over the North Sea with his nuclear bombers which the RAF have had to turn back on numerous occasions. .Sounds to me like a case of tit for tat.

Because he isn't a sell-out like Yeltsin. Yeltsin was the most incompetent leader Russia ever had, and yet he's the most loved in the West. This should tell you something.
