he's a smart man to tell you the truth, and you can't really fault him for being "evil." he wants to bring russia back to prominence, and you cant fault him for that, any RESPONSIBLE leader would want his country to come back to prominence, be it militarily, economically, or both. its just that us being americans have a different perspective on him.
The russians without appearing weak would think this agreement will have to come to an agreement with the planned missile shield.
How can anyone doubt? Look at all this cloak and dagger stuff, spies being poisoned with radiation... the sacriest KGB actions ever. Putin is the same old same old soviet operative, bringing that nasty era back to life. This became doubly apparent when George Bush declared him a soul mate ("I looked in his eye and I saw a kindred spirit...")
The kgb people still dont think he is going to bring back in the soviet union back in the ussr.
