No, if there was evidence that Iran itself carried it out, Russia would probably kick the bejesus out of Iran, and a problem that the world has been talking about would be solved. I fail to see how that's possible, since Russia has worked to prevent more sanctions on Iran, why they'd kill him makes no sense.
